THE Nelson Mandela Bay Business Event Awards is thrilled to announce the finalists for its prestigious annual event, set to take place on 1 November 2023. This year’s awards ceremony aims to recognize and honour the outstanding contributions of businesses and individuals in the business event industry within the Nelson Mandela Bay region.

ELEANOR DOUGLAS-MEYERS: KARIEGA minister in training, Anthony Mostert (22) has released an Afrikaans Poetry Anthology, Gekraakte Jeug,  in hopes of being an inspiration to the youth in his community.

Siqhamo Ntola, 34, senior lecturer in environmental and international law at the University of South Africa (Unisa),  and Mandela University’s Professor Noluxolo Gcaza, 32, from the School of ICT  have been named on the Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans for 2023 list.

ONCE again, all roads will lead to Kirkwood at the end of June as thousands of festival goers converge on the Karoo town of Kirkwood for the 20th annual SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees.
