Andre the Hilarious Hypnotist is heading back to the Bay this October, bringing more than three decades of comedy, hypnosis and unpredictable audience antics to the Centrestage@Baywest stage.
Andre makes his annual return on Saturday, 10 October, with a new show combining fresh routines with some audience favourites from his 35 years on stage.
The twist, as always, is that the audience becomes part of the entertainment.
Volunteers are invited onto the stage and placed at the centre of a series of hypnotic scenarios, meaning the personalities in the room can completely change how the evening unfolds. No two performances are quite the same.
Drawing on his experience as a comedian, hypnotist and trained actor, Andre combines comedy and hypnosis in a fast-paced show performed in both Afrikaans and English.
The performance is designed to be family-friendly, although only audience members aged 16 and older may volunteer to be hypnotised.
