Windsong Bohemian Market
This bi-monthly niche market is situated amongst beautiful indigenous flora in Broadway Ave Sunridge Park. The market has a chilled laidback vibe with a lot of beautiful bohemian, hippie, holistic and esoteric items crafted, made and grown by local creatives, artists and artisans. They also have food trucks and deli stalls and cater for everyone including vegetarians and vegans.
Locally Yours
The Locally Yours Market is a monthly market held at the Boardwalk Mall in Summerstrand where handmade arts, crafts and produce from local entrepreneurs are sold. The focus is on products that are handmade, grown, crafted, cooked, baked and designed right here in the Eastern Cape.
Save-a-Pet Boot Sale
On the first Saturday of every month, there is a Boot Sale in the car park at Elephant Walk, Cows Corner, Colleen Glen (at the end of Kragga Kamma Road). An average of 50 sellers display and sell their wares with proceeds from the Boot Sale going to Colleen Glen Veterinary Clinic to help cover some of the medical costs for their furry rescues.
Re-seconds Market
Re-used and Re-vamped products take centre stage every month end at Walmer Town Hall, Main Road, Walmer. This Market aims to create awareness around going green, being environmentally friendly and living in a sustainable manner as well as supporting all small and local businesses.
Crossways Village Market
Quality craft stalls, farm-fresh produce, and homemade delights are what you will find at the Crossways Village Market at Crossways Farm Village in Thornhill. Here you can enjoy live music, have a bite to eat and shop locally. Crossways Village Market is a child and dog-friendly event.
The Sards Market
The Sards Market (also called the Bark Park Market) is a monthly farmer’s market in the Sardinia Bay Valley at The Sards Bark Park next to the boarding kennels. It features vendors with homemade items, homegrown goods, fresh food, food trucks, arts & crafts and gifts. There is also live music, jumping castles and other activities.
Vegan Market
Planty Bru Vegan Market is a new addition to the Gqeberha Markets scene. It takes place at Werk 2.0 with vegan stalls, giveaways and free gifts for selected customers.
Art In The Park
On the last Sunday of each month, St George’s park becomes home to the city’s oldest market. Various arts and craft stalls along with food second-hand items and occasion live shows make this a fan favourite.
