Representing 041online, LWANDO JOKO SIPELITI joined local tourism professionals at the prestigious 2024 Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism Awards (NMBTA) gala event, which celebrated the region’s top talents and businesses in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
The event, which took place in the heart of Nelson Mandela Bay, celebrated the dedication and innovation that continues to make this city a prime tourist destination.
This year’s awards spanned eight categories, showcasing the best in accommodation, experiences, sustainability, and more. The winners are as follows:
- Accommodation: Pabala Private Nature Reserve
- Attraction & Experiences: The Boma
- Caterer: Petronella Craft Foods and Catering
- Cultural, Conservation & Sustainability: Raggy Charters
- Tour Guide: Lizl Nieuwoudt
- Transportation & Tours: Awehness Travel
- Up & Coming (Youth Focused): Devson T Luzane
- Photography/Videography: Firefly, the Travel Guy
