Kariega businesses colab for Valentine’s paint event

041online joins Kariega businesses as Love takes on an artistic twist with Paint and Sip this Valentines month.

On February 17 art lovers are invited to join in on a cocktail and canvas event at Caledon Guesthouse from 2pm to 5pm.

The R250 tickets (R400 for couples) gets you a cocktail, snacks, art supplies, thank you gifts and the chance to win lucky draws along with your canvas.

The Kariega based Paint and Sip has been operating since last year, giving attendees the opportunity to get a night out,  unwind and flex their artistic muscles.

“Paint n Sip is exactly what the name suggests – an event where people can unleash their creativity while sipping on their favorite drink. It’s a space where you can have a blast with loved ones or simply enjoy your own company while translating your thoughts onto canvas,” said Ruwayda Kaisi who runs the events with the support of her family.

“With three successful events under our belt, we’re excited for the next one to be just as memorable and enjoyable.”

Paint and Sip was established to give residents an alternative outing.

“Uitenhage has unfortunately been affected by gang violence and crime. However, we believe it doesn’t define us entirely. Our aim is to offer fun and engaging activities that showcase a different side of Uitenhage – one that’s vibrant, diverse, and enjoyable for all,” said Kaisi.

Paint and Sip are joining hands with Inside Out Picnics with the support of 041online for a Valentines themed event to celebrate the month of love.

“Our collaboration with Inside Out Picnic has been an incredible idea, combining our unique event styles to create an unforgettable experience for our guests. We hope this partnership will benefit both our businesses and foster growth,” said Kaisi.

041online has committed to collaborate with community building initiatives in a bid to celebrate what the city has to offer.

“Coming on board as media partner gives us the opportunity to do work towards our goal of uplifting the community and highlighting what the Bay has to offer,” said 041online managing editor Eleanor Douglas-Meyers.
