041writer Veronica Charles attended the media launch of Impact Community Theatre’s upcoming production of Grease and couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store. “This event is a must-see,” says Veronica. “The roles were perfectly cast, and the effort, passion, and love for theatre are evident on stage this September.”
After months of auditions, the cast is a mix of seasoned performers and fresh talent, ready to bring this timeless classic to life.
Director Leandi Fontini couldn’t be more excited, especially with her choice for Sandy, played by Abi Ranwell. “Abi nailed her audition from the first note,” said Fontini. Abi, a seasoned performer, calls this role a dream come true.
Jordan Morris, in his debut role as Danny Zuko, will be working alongside his sister, choreographer Andrea Morris. “It’s a thrill to be part of such an iconic show,” said Jordan.
The cast features Impact regulars and newcomers, with Phil Cowie as Kenickie, Charlize Visser as Rizzo, and Rachel Lategan as Marty, among others. The ensemble is set to deliver a show full of energy, nostalgia, and rock ‘n’ roll.
