One of musical theatre’s most colourful classics is lighting up the Savoy Theatre this October, as Impact Community Theatre presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, the much-loved musical follows Joseph and his brothers through a story packed with humour, memorable music and plenty of theatrical flair.
Directed by Rose Cowpar, with Joshua de Paula e Silva and Hannah Barth serving as musical and vocal directors, the local production features Taryn Bigge, Cassandra Stopforth and Lisa Ferreira as the Narrators, while Caleb Zola takes centre stage as Joseph.
Audiences can expect familiar favourites including Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door and Go, Go, Go Joseph.
The musical has been performed around the world and remains a family favourite thanks to its mix of comedy, catchy songs and themes of dreams, resilience, forgiveness and family.
