The Dafabet Warriors have officially kicked off their pre-season training with a bold mix of fresh faces and seasoned heavy-hitters, signalling their intent for a dominant 2025/26 CSA domestic cricket season.
Under the leadership of head coach Robin Peterson, the Warriors are doubling down on youth development while still anchoring the team with battle-tested pros and national stars. “We’re building for the future while staying competitive in the now,” says Peterson.
A Core of Class
Key names like Matthew Breetzke, Jordan Hermann, Sinethemba Qeshile, and Jean du Plessis return to lend stability, while Duanne Olivier, Patrick Kruger, and CJ King bolster the squad with serious experience. The Warriors will also enjoy the services of Proteas-contracted players Tristan Stubbs and Senuran Muthusamy, who bring international pedigree to the setup.
Future-Focused with High-Performance Fire
The Warriors have awarded High Performance (HP) contracts to a group of rising stars, including Jordan Morris, Ethan Frosler, Thomas Kaber, Jason Raubenheimer, Kyle Glennistor, and Wezo Gqiba. Morris, a 26-year-old batting allrounder, is tipped to bring serious depth to the middle order.

A host of exciting recruits have joined the fold.
