The Mandela Bay Arts Festival: A Celebration of Creativity and Culture

The Mandela Bay Arts Festival (MBAF) is back, February 22 to March 2, 2025, transforming Gqeberha into a hub of creativity and cultural expression! This remarkable initiative by the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality is a multidisciplinary arts showcase designed to elevate local talent, nurture creative industries, and establish the city as a destination for arts and culture lovers.

What Makes MBAF Unique?
The festival isn’t a single event but a series of vibrant performances, workshops, and exhibitions spread across multiple venues throughout the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.
