LELETHU ZONDANI
Since its inception in 2014, the Somerset East Charity Golf Day has raised over R900,000 for local charities. This December, the community is gearing up for the event’s 10th anniversary, promising another day of fun, fundraising, and fellowship.
What started as a small gathering of friends has grown into a major annual event that brings together golfers from all skill levels, all in support of two deserving charities: CWSA-Mary Coetzee Foster Cluster Home and Luvuyo Special Care. Founded by four friends from Somerset East who wanted to give back during their holiday visits, the event has had a tremendous impact on the local community over the past decade.
