Sophisticate Models proudly presented the culmination of talent and dedication at the 34th Top Model of the Year event held on Saturday, November 11th, at the Sun International Boardwalk International Convention Centre (ICC).

This prestigious event showcased the finesse of 98 finalists spanning seven age groups, from Kiddies to Senior Male and Female models. 

For the past months, these finalists dedicated themselves to refining their skills, undergoing rigorous training sessions since September, culminating in a grand gala that mesmerized attendees and judges alike.

This year’s event centred on two pivotal judging criteria: Photographic Modeling and Runway Prowess. The esteemed panel of judges, including Luzaan Preston, Jolene Van Ree, and Delon le Roux, evaluated each finalist’s photographic abilities whilst Morne Van Der Schyff, Annabel Krugel Linda Ntetha, and Theresa Vlok, conducted a live appraisal of their runway technique at the dazzling event, ensuring a fair and comprehensive assessment.

Sophisticate Models will also host their annual Model Registrations for 2024 on January 13, 20 and 27 at the Walmer Park Shopping Centre.

PICTURES: Special mention must be made of the winners within the Debutant category: Mia Brown, Megan-Anne Rautenbach and Tuane Lotriet for their remarkable feat of a combined sum of R196 000 worth of donations, vouchers and gifts-in-kind. They are truly the embodiment of the credo: Beauty with a Purpose.
