MOTOR enthusiasts are in for a treat this weekend with the Willow Road Pre-Owned Auto Show, hosted by Xtreme Octane, taking place on Sunday.

The Willow Road Pre-Owned Auto Show is an annual car show proudly hosted by Xtreme Octane, showcasing everything from classic automobiles to supercars which they combine with live music and food stalls to give motor enthusiasts a festival experience. 

Xtreme Octane hosts various events during the year to appease its following, but the annual car show is the biggest attraction  

“I believe Xtreme Octane and the auto shows we host have positively impacted NMB. It has created a group of over 200+ connected enthusiasts and a great sense of comradery among our active members. Many friendships and business relations/endeavors have emerged from clubs and events.

“It has allowed the car community to grow at an alarming rate, support local businesses, support local charities, and create another event to get the people of NMB out and excitable to live in our unique city,” said Luke Raaff from the Xtreme Octane brand management team.

The event is a charity driven with donations being accepted at the gate in support of Save-a-Pet and Coega Door of Hope. This can be in the form of pet food, blankets, clothing or cash donations 

What you can expect

• 60+ supercars, tuners, and classics on display
• Various activities such as lucky draws, raffles
•  kids remote control car activities courtesy of Rays RC Hobby Shop
• Food trucks and various other stalls for clothing, car related products.

Highlight activities:

• Pops and Bangs Showdown – An event for some of the loudest and best-sounding vehicles which are judged based purely on their sound. Prizes to be won for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

• Show and Shine – A showcase event of some of the neatest vehicles in Port Elizabeth. These are ranked based on various categories and prizes are to be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

• Sound Off – This event is tailored to those with custom sound setups in their vehicles. This allows owners to compete based on various categories such as neatness/appearance of installation, quality, and volume. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
