The Heydeburg Orchestra will present Karoo Kronkels at NG Kerk Walmer on 1 August 2026, bringing together established soloists, school choirs and the musical legacy of acclaimed South African composer Professor Chris Lamprecht.
Gqeberha audiences can look forward to an afternoon of Afrikaans music when Karoo Kronkels takes place at NG Kerk Walmer in Fifth Avenue on Saturday, 1 August 2026.
Presented by the Heydeburg Orchestra, the concert will celebrate Afrikaans art song, also known as Kunslied, while highlighting the contribution of Professor Chris Lamprecht as one of South Africa’s leading composers and academics.
