On Saturday, June 28th, Gqeberha will become part of a global rhythm when Secret Sunrise lands in the city with its signature blend of music, movement, and connection. This immersive, one-hour session – aptly titled City Pulse – will take place at Baywest Mall’s Upper Ground Entrance 4 parking area, just as the sun begins to dip below the horizon.
More than a dance class or fitness event, Secret Sunrise is a global movement that has brought joy to over 50,000 people worldwide—from Cape Town and Johannesburg to Singapore, Zurich and Lima. Now, it’s Gqeberha’s turn to tune in, turn up, and experience something truly unique.
Participants wear wireless headphones and are guided through a powerful journey of dance, stillness and storytelling. Facilitators lead the group through playful, energising, and deeply mindful movement – an experience that is both personal and shared, uplifting and grounding.
Open to All—No Dance Skills Required
Secret Sunrise creates a space where everyone is welcome. All ages, fitness levels, and body types are encouraged to join. There’s no choreography, no judgment, and no pressure – just the invitation to show up, move as you feel, and enjoy the moment.
