This year, the Fairview Sports Centre will host the ultimate geek experience on Saturday, 25 October, and Sunday, 26 October, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Both days are packed with activities, performances, and goodies to satisfy every geeky passion.
Highlights include:
Learn to K-Pop: Lady K will be performing amazing K-Pop dance covers and hosting an instructive class on the main stage Saturday. Plus, K-Pop Demon Hunters fans can enjoy a spectacular group dance experience both days.
The Art of Aikido: Port Elizabeth Aikido & Japanese Sword will demonstrate the Japanese martial art on Sunday, sharing insights on its techniques and cinematic appearances.
World of Warcraft Tabletop Gaming: Experience WoW TGG – Reborn for the first time at CONect! Learn the game and join the fun in the Tabletop area.
LARPing Adventures: On Sunday, immerse yourself in live-action role-playing. Bring your friends and embark on an epic quest!
Kids Zone: Little geeks can enjoy jumping castles, interactive art zones, and more under supervision. Playtime rates: 1 hour R80 | 2 hours R100.
Live Music: Ignite The Sacred will perform anime- and pop-culture-themed music in the Chill Area.
CONquest Wrestling: Presented by the World Association of Wrestling South Africa, in collaboration with World Wrestling Promotions. Don’t miss the two-hour outdoor ring match extravaganza on Saturday.
For Bookworms: Relax in the Chill Area on Sunday with the Open Book Club GQ. Bring your favorite book and enjoy an hour of peaceful reading with fellow enthusiasts.
