Gqeberha is ready to rock as the iconic British supergroup SMOKIE returns to South Africa for their highly anticipated 45th Anniversary World Tour. Lefra Productions proudly brings this legendary band back to local shores, promising fans an unforgettable musical experience.
The South African tour kicks off at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on Wednesday, 18 September 2024, and continues with stops at Moreleta Campus in Pretoria and the Madibaz Indoor Centre in Gqeberha on Saturday, 21 September 2024, at 20:00. The tour will wrap up at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City in Johannesburg on Sunday, 22 September 2024, at 15:00.

Gqeberha fans will also be treated to a performance by the popular South African band WEST, featuring Ernie Bates, Mac Young, and Hugo Hewitt, who will join SMOKIE as special guests. Hugo Hewitt expressed the band’s excitement, saying, “We grew up with SMOKIE’s music, and their hits have left a lasting impression. We’re thrilled and honoured to open for SMOKIE!”
