Easter Fun for Kids (and Big Kids!): Easy Bunny Pancakes Recipe

Perfect for a sweet and creative Easter morning, these recipes are a great way to bond in the kitchen and celebrate together.

1. Bunny Pancakes

A super cute and simple breakfast idea for Easter!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tsp vinegar)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • Banana slices (for cheeks)
  • Strawberries (for the nose and ears)
  • Whipped cream (for the tail)

Instructions:

  1. In one bowl, mix the dry ingredients, and in another, combine the wet ingredients.
  2. Stir the wet and dry ingredients together until just mixed.
  3. Heat a pan and pour the batter to form one large pancake (the bunny’s head) and two smaller ones (the cheeks).
  4. Cut one of the pancakes into ear shapes.
  5. Assemble the bunny face by adding banana slices for cheeks, a strawberry for the nose, chocolate chip eyes, and whipped cream for the tail.
  6. Serve with syrup or honey for an extra treat!
