041ANIMATION columnist Faziela Harris-Davids is calling all weebs and hashira in training,as the long awaited Demon Slayer Hashira Training arc will be hitting the sunny shores of South Africa on 23rd February 2024.
The Hashira Training Arc follows soon after the Swordsmith Village Arc where Tanjiro is yet again undergoes extensive training under the stone hashira, Gyomei Himejima, as he continues on his quest to become a Hashira.
With it being revealed that Nezuko is immune to sunlight, demon attacks have since decreased drastically, as the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji prepares to search for Nezuko and the Ubuyahiki family along with the three remaining Kizuki members, Akaza, Doma and Kokushibo.
Another film adaptation as the previous Mugen Train and Swordsmith Village arc, the film will include the last 2 episodes of season 3 and the 1st episode of season 4. This is the perfect teaser for the much anticipated launch of season 4 later this year.
We are at a pivotal point in the Demon Slayer anime, as Tanjiro harnesses more of his powers while learning about the Demon Slayer Corps, as he and the remaining Hashira, prepare for the battle that he has spent his entire time in the Demon Slayer Corps preparing for.
Released on the 02nd February in Japan, I would strongly suggest avoid social media for any spoilers, as I find myself constantly swiping away on Tiktok and Instagram for an unspoiler-ruined experience. Did I say that right?
A little birdie has also let out that the Engraved Slave along with Ster-Kinekor will be hosting mini pop ups to celebrate opening night at the following locations:
- Baywest, Port Elizabeth
- Cavendish Square, Cape Town
- Tygervalley, Cape Town
- Mall of Africa, JHB
