THE following rant is aimed at no one in particular, it is not a personal backlash (although you would think so considering how worked up I get about these things!)

It’s just a PPP (personal pet peeve) at the ever-growing so-called experts bombarding the weight loss industry with their unrealistic, nonsensical, unsustainable, completely devoid of any nutritional or physiological sense, BS, weight loss hacks!
Although, these fake gurus inadvertently contribute to my own personal income (I get the emotionally broken and often physically starved souls that never got to anywhere near the “rapid weight loss” or “washboard abs” even less close to waving goodbye to any of that belly fat and in some cases, living with the side effects of a poorly functioning or completely removed organ!
Those are my clients.
The ones who have continued to buy into misinformation through desperation.
These fitness freaks come down my feed, talking AT me, FULLY FLEXED (who holds their arms as though they’re cradling a small, invisible baby??) discharging their wealth of “TONING TIPS.”
If there was EVER a moment I was contemplating taking the advice of my Media experts and getting my voice out there live for a better following, they crushed it!
I’ll stick to the slow growth, 🐌 with passengers who jump on board because they like my message and prefer being talked TO not AT!
What the flexors, the shouters, the fasting fanatics with next to zero body fat (because they’re basically starving themselves of calories for the ropey arms and the washboard abs) are not telling you EXACTLY what sacrifices they’ve made to get there.
Buying into that BS is kind of like spending the last of your savings booking Jennifer Aniston’s hairdresser because you want the “Rachel.”
Trust me, if your follicles are more Gollum, the hair is not coming out Rachel!
As much as I dislike these ranters, I like common sense and common sense tells me that no matter how many times you scrub your face with ‘SKIN DETOX COOLING SCRUB’ you will NOT be getting rid of “100% of the body’s toxins.
Nor will the “NEW VASELINE INFUSED WITH FIRMING BODY LOTION’ target any looming dimples of cellulite.
In the same way that common sense tells me no matter how much I flex in front of you and promise to “get you sculpted in just 3 WEEKS” or “just by doing this ONE exercise” washboards will not be visual if you’re downing a burger and fries on the way to class!
TONING in the PHYSIOLOGICAL sense is creating firmness in the muscle.
So if you’re signing up for the power circuit classes, that’s certainly a good start!
However, that hard-earned muscle will only be VISIBLE if your body fat percentage is low and that is why DIET, NOT AMOUNT OF REPS OR TYPE OF EXERCISE, plays the biggest role.
