Masilakhe FC owner Lunga Fata has joined forces with the ZAFA (Kwazakhele Football Association) to host an exciting year-end senior football tournament set to light up the Kwazakhele fields.
The tournament will take place over two days, from 8–9 November 2025, at Ntsango Field and Dynamos Ground, featuring over 20 teams from across Kwazakhele. Among the participating sides are Dynamos FC, Liverpool, Golden Brothers, Black Eagles, and Masilakhe FC themselves.
This event marks Lunga Fata’s fourth tournament of the year, following three highly successful editions that brought together local players and reignited the community’s passion for the game.
Fata says his mission is to keep players active and to restore competitiveness and unity within Kwazakhele football.
“My goal is to see our players busy, our fields full again, and Kwazakhele football vibrant and competitive like before,” he said.
Earlier this year, Fata officially formed Masilakhe FC, a registered club under ZAFA, which will make its debut season in 2026 when the league reopens. Beyond football, Masilakhe also runs a Netball Club boasting over 100 young players across three divisions – Under-13, Under-16, and Seniors – showing Fata’s broader commitment to youth and community sports development.
The upcoming tournament promises to close the year on a high note for Kwazakhele football lovers, with local pride and bragging rights at stake.
