041Fitness columnist Nadine Lahana is ready to put her experience and training to the test with a Go Green challenge this November.

ANYONE watch the documentary “Stutz?”
TWO THINGS struck me HARD…
1) I didn’t see Jonah Hill as “the fat guy” in Hollywood.
There are plenty of overweight actors. I guess he seemed so comfortable in his role, I didn’t notice!
2) How incredibly difficult it is to qualify in a field like psychiatry due to the smorgasbord of mental issues there are to be diagnosed within the complexity of each and every individual…
Yet, there seems to be a universal approach.
A one-size-fits-all, “How does that make you feel?”
Stutz has a non-conventional get-in-and-make-a-difference approach.
He genuinely wants his patient to leave the room with some semblance of hope.
And he did with Jonah.
Stutz says “85% of early therapy gains are down to LIFESTYLE CHANGES!”
Perhaps, due to his years of suffering neuro-degenerative diseases for a large portion of his life, he (Stutz) felt more compelled to get patients the help they needed as soon as he could.
Totally unconventional but (for me) a progressive and more creative hands-on approach.
Having been in the Health and Fitness Industry for over 20 years, I am ALL EARS to any research toward progressing a mindset to a healthy lifestyle. Because, at the end of the day, your BODY will not do what the MIND does not tell it to!
You can go ahead and sign up for any FAD diet you like.
It will work purely due to a calculated deficit of energy.
WEIGHT LOSS? That’s the easy part. The challenge is WEIGHT MAINTENANCE.
I only have 5 spaces left on my “GO-GREEN” Challenge in November. WhatsApp if you are ready to change your mind to change your body! Nadine (079) 5092071
